You Have The Choice. You’ve Always Had the Choice
I have to admit something to you.
I’m a recovering non-decision maker.
Procrastination was my MO and even though I hated rushing at the last minute, I just couldn’t stop.
Sound familiar to anyone out there?
Well, today you have the choice and the opportunity to make a very important decision.
Actually every day you have the opportunity to make important decisions.
But will you actually make one today? And make one that makes a difference?
The fact is that you have to make decisions and choices every day and most of it is around trivial stuff.
You have to decide what to wear, where to go, what to eat, who to talk to and you even have to decide to get out of bed in the morning.
So what should make today any different?
Today is just one day out of your life when your voice will be heard. Maybe you don’t have a loud voice, maybe you don’t have a strong opinion. Maybe, just maybe you don’t want to make a decision today.
I’m challenging you anyway.
Just for today.
Make a choice.
Decide to speak up.
Make a decision and let your voice be heard even if that decision is just to you and for you.
Just do it, make the decision, make the choice, so something.
Don’t stop there.
Continue to make choices.
About your life.
About your health.
About your family and relationships.
How do you want to live?
Making decisions will never stop as long as you are here so why are you waiting?
I don’t know why I ever hesitated.
I don’t know why I ever found it hard to make a decision.
Once I decided to take control of my health and well-being, I have never regretted that decision.
I may not have been going along with the crowd or what other people may have expected of me, but I don’t regret one moment.
What do you have to lose?
What will you choose to do?
Stand up.
Let your voice be heard.
Let yourself be heard not only today, but every day of your life.
You might ask, what do I have to gain from standing up and deciding to choose what kind of life I want for myself?
You will have all the power in the world to do whatever it is you want to do.
But it’s usually the first step that is the hardest.
So if you want to be healthier, then decide to be healthier.
If you want to make more money, then decide to make more money.
If you want a new place, a new job, a new relationship, the you need to choose that first.
Nothing will happen for you unless you choose for it to happen first.
You have nothing to lose. You have your whole life to gain.
