“You have to keep showing up, being open, and doing the work. The journey into the self is not a group experience. It’s solitary work. But so many of us are afraid of being alone. So you need to experiment… The whole process of following these spiritual instructions has a lot to do with conquering our fear.”
– Beryl Bender Birch
What would you do if you were not afraid?
What would you do if you did not allow your fear to paralyze you?
Or better yet, what would you NOT do if fear part of the equation?
Why do we hold ourselves back when it comes to attaining what it is that we really want- whether it is what we want out of life, out of our relationships, out of our careers? Why do we do this to ourselves?
Why do we not let ourselves be happy or even content with where we are without having that constant wonder about what if?
Imagine what you could do with just a little less fear, without that nagging sense of “what if I can’t?”
What if the fear of truly being who you are was not there any more?
What if the fear of being alone and being silent was gone?
What now?
