Have you ever felt something so deeply in your core, something that made you feel so alive & powerful?
Have you ever been able to take those feelings and translate it into something that not only changed your life but the lives of everyone you came into contact with?
That is at the heart of my manifesto, my philosophy, my core values, that thing that makes my heart grow ten sizes too big for my chest and yet at the same time, makes my heart sing a song that my whole body dances to without ever knowing why.
This is what that song is saying to me.
We are all so incredibly powerful IF we are only strong enough to embrace that power.
And why wouldn’t we?
We all have inside of us that thing that is needed to change the world for the better- for ourselves, for our families, for our friends and for our futures.
We are powerful beyond measure IF we are only capable enough of seeing past our own self-inflicted nonsense.
Yes, we put all of that crap on ourselves. No one forced us to. No one gave it to us, so you need to stop blaming your parents, your genetics, your teachers, your friends, your enemies and start pointing the finger right back where it needs to be- at YOU.
Once you step into your divine power, into your divine grace and purpose, only then can you receive your divine gifts.
They’re sitting there, waiting for you to step up and be heard.
They’re waiting for you to admit that the time is past for you to play small, for you to hide, for you to be satisfied with mediocrity.
And instead, be strong, be powerful, be yourself in spite of anyone who may disagree, punish, criticize or demean you.
It is time for you to step into what your truth is, to own who you are at your deepest level and scream to the world:
“This is me! This is who I am! I am going to succeed, I am going to be successful and nothing that you say or do is going to stop me. Nothing is going to make me think twice that what my soul is telling me to do is wrong.”
And when you get to that point, you can have anything. You can do anything. You can be anything.
Why?
Because you conquered your biggest obstacle- yourself.
You see, we all stand in our own way.
It has never been someone else who has stopped us from what we’ve truly wanted to do and if you still believe they have, it’s only because you gave up your own power and let them have the reins of your life.
Choose today to be THE day where you will regain control over your own life and how it proceeds from this day forward.
If fear has taken control, if you think that you can’t, then you’re right. You can’t.
It’s a simple truth that where you put your energy, where you set your mind upon, that is exactly what you will receive.
It is because of this that we need to choose to live our lives in a constant state of gratitude, unconditional love for ourselves & for each other, unconditional acceptance of ourselves & of our fellow man (& woman) and unparalleled truth of how we choose to walk this earth.
It is only when you have made the decision that any results can ever appear.
It is not because some evil step-mother has withheld anything from you. It is more simply because you have withheld from yourself.
What do you choose for yourself?
How do you want to live your life?
Do you choose to live an abundant life full of love, acceptance, honesty & gratitude?
It’s so much easier than any of us make it.
We create such complex patterns and habits for ourselves.
If we are strong enough to look past these, then we are opening ourselves up for a freedom that we’ve never experienced before.
And when you are open to freedom, then so much more is given to you just because you believed it would be so.
It is too often that I come into contact with people who are genuinely unhappy. My heart goes out to them. It has to. I can feel their pain so accutely that it feels like my own.
I send them love. It’s all I know how to do.
Words are sometimes useless, even with the best of intentions because they have chosen this life for themselves.
Perhaps they don’t realize that it only takes a decision, a choice of their own to step away from the life that they know.
It sounds too simple & perhaps a bit cruel.
But it’s a battle that I fight almost on a daily basis.
If I don’t make the choice to live my life the way I want to live it, then I’ll fall prey to the decisions that other people have made about my life.
I become a puppet.
If I can choose to not give my power to someone else, than I really believe that you can too.
All you have to do is believe it to be true & it will be.
All you have to do is step up & be heard.
All you have to do is believe in yourself & in the things that make your heart sing & make you truly happy to be alive.
All you have to do is wake up each morning and be grateful that you can do so with a heart full of love, full of truth, full of acceptance and full of life.
You just need to choose that path & live each day to its fullest.
There is so much good out there, if only you choose to experience it.
So step up & be counted.
